A visceral horror dreamscape set inside a British Boarding School. Inspired by Elf Lyons's award winning ★★★★★ comedy-horror show RAVEN

Hello everyone!
I’m so excited (and slightly terrified) to finally share this - once I return from Australia and finish touring Horses - I’m making a horror film.
If you saw Raven and thought, “Wow, that would work as a horror movie...” – well I agree. And that’s exactly what I’m trying to do.
I’ve written a short film called The Corridor (inspired by a key scene from the show). It’s a surreal psychological horror set in a British boarding school, co-created with the brilliant Jack Carrivick – who I worked with last year on the short film version of The Fly.
Like Raven, The Corridor dives into the uncanny, the funny, the frightening, and the deeply personal. Think The Shining meets Skinnamarink – with a hint of unhinged clown logic and a dash of dread. It is weird. It’s wild. And I think it’s going to be beautiful.
I’ve never done anything like this before, and if you like my work – and want to see me make something truly twisted - I would love your help.
We’ve just launched our Kickstarter campaign to help fund the film – and this is where I need you. Every single donation makes a difference, whether it’s £10 or £500. And if you can’t donate, sharing the link would mean the world. Especially if you know any horror fans, oil tycoons, oligarchs, or eccentric millionaires with a long-held dream of helping an alternative clown make people scream.
We need to raise £17,000 in the next three weeks!
It’s all or nothing – if we don’t reach the full target, we don’t get any of the funds.
There are some fun and creepy rewards for backers. I would be so grateful for your support.
Thank you for reading and I hope wherever you are, you are safe and happy.
With love and menace,
Elf x The Corridor - a film by Elf Lyons & Jack Carrivick
